Visual Language 1- Media Collage

These posters address consumerism as an addiction. The dependence upon material possessions in the United States has skyrocketed in the past decade, and there is little to no stigma around being a “shopaholic”. The background images are traditional vices while the foreground images are a new wave of addiction in the form of corporate logos and products. The central pyramid (reminiscent of the U.S. dollar bill) incorporates text that can apply to both vices depicted.
